To My Loyal Readers...

What's up! Just wanted to post a quick message and let everyone know I've revamped my blog over at http://www.jasoncercone.com! I welcome one and all to come check it out, subscribe, and above all, start some conversations.

It's still a semi-work-in-progress with a new layout, but I'll have lots of new content coming in the very near future. My new fantasy football article "Fantasy Meets Reality" will be launching in the next couple weeks. In addition, my business partner and I, Jason Collins, have some major things on the horizon at LinXone Solutions and I'll be keeping everyone up to date about what's going down...

And, let's not forget, some of the events, rants, raves, and goings-on in the Life of Cercone!

Looking forward to seeing everyone over at JasonCercone.com.

Best,

Jason Cercone

#Succinctness

This week, for no reason whatsoever other than conducting an experiment in succinctness (and I'm a bit of a clown by nature), I'm limiting my Twitter tweets to one word. Come join in the fun and let the mysteries abound!

And if you're not following me on Twitter already, why not? @jasoncercone

#Tech Dilemmas

I'm fully aware that no matter what form of technology you purchase, it's pretty much rendered obsolete before you peel off the protective cellophane. But in an effort to avoid the "you bought the wrong TV, sillyhead" moment in my world, I've decided to take it to the streets and let public opinion sway my purchases.

DILEMMA 1: Succumb to the Overabundant iPhone Ads?

Droid or iPhone 4 for Verizon? I've gone back and forth and back and forth, as well as to and fro on this one, and as I continue to overthink, my Blackberry battery needs charging 2-3 times just to make it through the day. As I reluctantly plug said device into the charger, I keep getting punched in the face by a CRAP-TON of iPhone advertising. So much, in fact, that I'm pretty dead set on getting one...

...but then I go back to the news I read about the technology being "behind the curve" and that I should wait until the iPhone 5 comes out "this summer." And now I've read it's probably NOT coming out this summer.

So, what's the deal? I'd love to hear some pros and cons about the iPhone 4 to determine whether I want to take the plunge. But one way or another, I need to curb-stomp my Blackberry battery in a major way.

DILEMMA 2: Tablet Woes

I'm extremely anxious to jump on the tablet bandwagon, but again...what's the #winning platform? I've messed with the new Xoom, the iPad (not the new one, but the 2nd to most recent model), and the Samsung Galaxy. Like them all, but can't justify buying all three. They're not craft beers, after all...

SIDEBAR: On the subject of craft beers...if you can get your hands on Erie Brewing Company's Ol' Red Cease and Desist, do it, and thank me later.

So can I get a little help from the congregation? Opinions, takes, user experiences, yaddy yadda yadda are all welcome.
